A Journey With Purpose

From our humble beginnings in 2016, Ledtec has embarked on a journey with a clear sense of purpose. We are not just about LED lighting; we are about making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve, and this recognition by Lighting Council Australia affirms that we are on the right path.

Creating Hope For Local Communities

Our work with the East Fremantle Lacrosse Club serves as a shining example of our engagement with industry. When we were first approached by the sports club’s managers, we quickly learned that they were grappling with some serious challenges that many sports clubs across Australia face – securing funding and technical guidance for a much-needed LED lighting upgrade. The prospect of not being able to provide members with regular practice sessions due to outdated lighting was a serious concern that threatened the entire existence of the club in the future. We were eager to step in as there was a real opportunity to make a difference for this local sports club.

Overcoming Challenges

Serg, our esteemed founder, is not just an experienced business owner within the LED lighting industry; he’s a visionary with a real dedication to helping local businesses and communities. He has consistently demonstrated authentic, ongoing support for local organisations, in this case, the East Fremantle Lacrosse Club. Serg’s contributions went beyond LED lighting solutions; they were acts of generosity and kindness that brightened the future of the club. Under Serg’s visionary leadership, and with the dedicated effort of our lighting engineers, we developed a customised lighting design and lux specifications utilising our top-rated KFS 1500W sports LED floodlights, that ensured the club could afford an upgrade that would meet their immediate needs while also catering to the future generations of lacrosse sports players.

The transformation from the club’s beginnings in 1972, when a single metal halide training light was installed, to state-of-the-art LED lighting in 2023, is a journey we are proud to be a part of. It’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to creating meaningful change in the communities we work with. Our commitment to making a difference extends beyond the sports field. We also provided our LSTS Solar LED street lights to enhance the club’s car park security and accessibility, ensuring a safer and more inclusive environment for all visitors and members.

A Testimonial from Peter Cann – Director of Special Projects at East Fremantle Lacrosse Club

Serg assisted us to overcome our funding issues by donating a couple of his KFS stadium lights and developing a lighting design and LUX plan that would identify the most cost-effective lighting upgrade solution to make it affordable for our local community club, by delivering exceptional lighting for the current and future generations of lacrosse players. The KFS 1500W stadium lights have and will significantly improve the player experience and safety on the pitch. I do not doubt that Serg genuinely wants and achieves the aim of making a positive change for as many local community clubs as possible, and I know he and his team can do it. Whenever we had a question or faced uncertainty throughout any step of the way of this project, they were there to assist. Questions regarding current Australian Standards and certifying whole of ground LUX Levels have been provided in written format and to our governing body, as part of the service offered by Ledtec. No questions went unanswered, and no issues went unsolved all in a prompt and timely manner, a fact that was much appreciated by our club and the Town of East Fremantle. I truly hope that as many clubs as possible throughout Australia get to experience the outstanding sales and service, knowledge and state-of-the-art lighting solutions provided by Ledtec”.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Throughout this lighting project, much like every other lighting upgrade we undertake, we upheld our promise to the East Fremantle Lacrosse Club, providing prompt lighting solutions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant lighting standards and regulations. Our commitment to excellence is not merely about delivering quality lighting; it’s about delivering a quality experience for our partners that will be beneficial to future generations to come. We are deeply honoured to receive the Lighting Council Australia Award, and we are more determined than ever to continue our mission of bringing quality lighting and hope to communities across Australia, and we are excited about the journey ahead.

Our win of the Award for Industry Engagement with Industry is not just an accolade, it’s a testament to our dedication, passion, and commitment to communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the East Fremantle Lacrosse Club, along with many other local sports clubs across Australia to date, and we look forward to continuing our journey of making a positive impact on many more businesses and organisations across Australia. Here’s to a brighter future together, and see you at next year’s Lighting Council Australia Awards Night!
